Ohio History Day Regional Winners Advance to States

Ohio History Day Regional Winners Advance to States

Grade 8 students are challenged with competing in Ohio History Day each year. OHD is a research based competition that strives to teach students about key events in history through research development, project creation, and presentation. On March 23, NDMS was able to send 21 of our 63 8th graders to represent us at the Regional competition at Youngstown State University. We participated in the exhibit (tri-fold), website and documentary categories. Of the 10 spots available through those categories to advance to the State competition, NDMS students took 9 of those 10 spots (exhibit-7 spots, website- 2 spots, documentary- 1).
